We had a very busy but extremely fun December. Here are a few things that we did.
Work Parties!
We went to Steve's Central Valley work party and Dave Atkinson's work party. Both of which were at the Coppermill and within a couple days of each other. What a treat for me not to have to cook for 2 nights!
Jorgensen Family Christmas Party!
This year our Christmas Party was at Mark and MaryAnn's house in Paradise. What a long drive for us. It felt like we were driving to Ogden. It was well worth it. This would be our first time seeing their house completely finished. The kids had a surprise visit from Santa Claus. They were so excited to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. We had dinner and the kids put on their annual "Nativity" performance. Riley was Joseph, Ashlyn was Mary, and Emma was baby Jesus. We told Ashlyn that she would be playing Mary and so she kept telling us that her and Riley were getting married. It was so cute.

Riley Turns 6
Riley's birthday was on the 16th and we told him that he could take 2 friends to the Fun Park. He invited his cousins Hunter and Mackenize and his best friend Cole. We are so grateful for the good friends and cousins that our kids have. After they played at the Fun Park, Steve took the kids back to his parents house for pizza, cake, and ice cream.
Pictures!
We took the kids to JCPenney's right before Christmas to have their pictures taken. THis was our first JCPenney experience and I was a little worried about how they would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised. Here are a few of them. I forgot how crazy it is to get ready for pictures. Luckily I was able to find outfits for the girls that kind of matched. I bought them both the day before we got their pictures taken. Talk about procrastinating. The session went well and the kids actually were happy.

Findlay Family Christmas Party!
We were able to go to my family's Christmas Party this year. As always it was held up at the University. We had a nice dinner of soup and rolls. We played the candy bar game and the kids played a $2 game. It was so nice to spend time with my family that we don't get to see that often.
Gingerbread Party!
Here are a few pictures from MaryLynn's gingerbread party. The kids love to make and decorate their own gingerbread houses. This is such a fun tradition for them.

Emma (10 weeks old) taking a nap. Is she hiding from the camera?
I had to take this picture of the kids taking a nap. Riley said he wasn't tired but this is what I walked into my room and found. If you notice Riley has his mouth on Emma's head. What's better than a little drool on your head!!
