Reno 2010

This year for bowling we went to Reno, NV. We stayed at the Atlantis and our rooms their were so pretty. The guys bowled, we went to Circus Circus to play the games, and the kids swam. Our family and Steve's brother Brian and his family headed to Disneyland - SeaWorld - LegoLand and everyone else headed home. What a long drive from Reno to Anaheim. We stayed at a Best Western in Anaheim that was a block away from Disneyland.

On Saturday we headed to Legoland which was only an hour away. Riley and Hunter loved Legoland. We went on rides, Ashlyn met a princess, went for a boat ride, and got sunburnt. There was a fast roller coaster ride that Riley, Steve, Mackenize and I went on. The boys LOVED Legoland and are still planning their next trip there.

Early Sunday morning we went to SeaWorld. We stopped at a pull off to see the ocean and we saw the FATTEST squirrels I have ever seen. The kids loved them. Then we went to a beach so the kids could play in the water. We started walking and realized we had stopped at a dog beach. There were dogs everywhere. We had so much fun at SeaWorld. We saw the Shamu show 2 times and of course we had to sit in the Splash Zone. Luckily we didnt really get wet. We got our picture taken with Shamu. The kids loved the water rides. Riley and Hunter got soaked. There were fun rides for the kids to go on and a Sesame Street play land.

On Monday and Tuesday we were at Disneyland. I was not prepared for the weather, the lines, the walking, walking, walking, or the teething baby (Emma). Ashlyn loved the princess' and the not fast or up and down rides. We stood in the Princess line for about 45 minutes so that the girls could get their pictures taken with the princess' and to get their autographs. Riley loved the fastest and craziest rides. There were a few rides that we would get off of and then get right back in line because Riley loved them so much. I had no idea he would love them like he did. We went to California Adventures and Riley found a ride that he absolutely had to go on. It is called the Paradise Pier. It was an intense ride. For most of the ride you were sideways and then the loops and going a thousand miles a minutes. He wanted to ride it again but my stomach couldn't handle it and Steve wasnt too sure about it. What a blast we had.

We left Disneyland at 9:00 pm at started our trip home. We had thought about driving straight home but around 1:00 am we decided to stop in Las Vegas and get a hotel room. We stayed at the Stratosphere. The next morning we dragged ourselves out of bed and drove to St. George to see Tracina and her family. Our kids were so excited to play with their cousins.

I was so excited that we were able to take our kids to these fun places. It was so fun to see their different personalities, likes, and dislikes.
